The Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL) published a short report that updates parts of the science as assessed by the Fourth Assessment Report, which was published by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 2007. It also explores the possibilities that the world's climate may change according to the highest IPCC projections or beyond, and discusses policy options in case of such a worst case scenario.
